Serial number “001” was treated with Verde Ithaca wet paint by us. This midpoint untried machine is stylized and assembled by Vélowland. The official Verde Ithaca untried paint job, the use of stat woebegone parts and the sharp edges of the frame should remind you one of the modern classics. This GT was built out of the same steel tubes used for our famous archetype framesets. The velocipede is equipped with GatesStatbelt momentum system for a smooth, wipe and silent transmission. The premium tubular wheelset (88mm in front and track disc in back) is hand built by the British Walker Brothers. Handmade leather grips and a new slick imbricate for the Fizik saddle are made by Wim Hoogeveen (Holland). Vélowland turned this Viks into a stock-still gear for a sportive ride. The stopping power comes from a combination of a small time trial lever and BLB CNC rim restriction – minimalist, but efficient. Can you imagine the thrill when this Viks met one of the sickest supercars in real life?! The one million euro, 750 hp powered machine was hauling and showing muscles to impress the two wheeler. The Viks GT was just….silent. It seemed to be a perfect match. “Out of the box!” is a reaction often heard when people see this bike. In spring 2017 this GT will be seeming at Cyclingworld in Düsseldorf, Germany. Steel vs Aluminium It is your nomination whether to have your Viks GT made from stainless steel or aluminium alloy. Steel makes it possible to play increasingly with the surface. Imagine a brushed or a RAW in GT mode! A steel horse is definitely a stronger and stiffer ride, but aluminium transfuse weights much less and it can be felt at once when riding – the velocipede reacts faster to pedalling.
