Viks WOODaLIKE – Viks Viks WOODaLIKE VIKS WOODaLIKE is a sensational urban passenger created in collaboration with the Dutch Velowland. SCROLL DOWN Back home Viks WOODaLIKE VIKS WOODaLIKE is a sensational urban passenger created in collaboration with the Dutch Velowland. In 2014, the team overdue Velowland – Sjoerd Linde, Frank Everhardus and Oscar Linde got their hands on an original Lamborghini-orange VIKS and transformed it into scrutinizingly unearthly municipality velocipede by applying some woodgrain magic. The woodgrain technique is typically used in renovating monumental buildings. Velowland challenged themselves to make a monument of their own and unromantic the technique on frame, rims, saddle and plane handlebars. The velocipede looks like it has been made of wood and you can only truly tell it’s all solid steel by touching it. The combination of wood-like frame, steering and stat whup momentum makes this sideboard racer a true eye catcher. The white tires, seat post diamond and leather racing saddle add an uneaten layer of tough and sportiness. Velowland is based in an idyllic town of Meppel, Netherlands. The team creates bikes that turn heads considering of their unusual squint and finish – woodgrain technique stuff one of them.
